Do you have an international background?

You might have already heard about the Academic Club (AC-Tele) at your work – and you might also already know that it is an academic organisation for employees within TDC NET and Nuuday – aka a trade union.

Maybe a trade union is not something you have ever considered being part of – it could be because you are not planning on staying in Denmark long enough for it to make sense. Or because you are unsure of what being a member of a trade union would signal to the employer. Or maybe you need more information to make an active choice.

In this online meeting you get the chance to hear about the Danish model, and why so many people in Denmark choose to be a member of a union (appr. 64% of the Danish workforce/students are members). And most importantly, you will get an overview of what you can get out of being a member when you are an international working and living in Denmark, no matter for how long a period.

Speaker

We have invited international consultant Heidi Ås from the trade union IDA to introduce the Danish model – and to emphasize the advantages of becoming a member of a trade union, no matter your background.
